For the residents of Peetri in Rae municipality, 3 December was a red-letter day as it marked the opening of the brand new Peetri Keskus.
The ground floor of this two-storey complex, which covers almost 10,000 m², features a Coop supermarket, a florist’s, a café, a Südameapteek pharmacy and the Fredi Vöörman Tennis Academy. The second floor is home to the Medicum doctor’s surgery, the Haldja Hambaravi dental office, the 24/7 fitness.ee sports club, the Drive It Up guitar school, the MeliorBeauty salon, the Pesapuu Family Centre, the Mamma Mia singing studio and hobby centre, a youth centre and a number of other companies whose services are needed by locals.
The design process for this multipurpose complex was a lengthy one, as explained at the official opening by Tuule Group director Vjatšeslav Leedo: “Two-thirds of the process was looking into the conditions in Peetri, asking what was needed there and listening to the answers we got. After that, the plans were so advanced that it was easy to get partners on board.”
We are delighted the building turned out just as beautifully as it appeared in the designs and that it will provide the people of Peetri with a great place to spend their free time.
