The working plans for the reconstruction of the town hall in Narva have now been completed. Every part of the building was designed taking heritage protection conditions into account and to the level of detail required by the builder.
The plans foresee the partial demolition of the brick walls erected in the course of restoration work carried out in the 1960s so as to ensure that the initial layout is restored (or at least denoted) as accurately as possible.
Having stood empty and unused for 20 years, the town hall will become a symbol of the city and one of its biggest tourist drawcards.
