This engineering project was for a seven-storey health centre. The building can be divided into three distinct parts: commercial and storage space and a restaurant on the 1st floor; a car park covering the 2nd and 3rd levels; and the health centre and office spaces on the 4th through 7th floors.
The building stands on pile foundations made from reinforced concrete. Strip foundations were designed to sit under the external walls on the exterior perimeter and under the walls of the staircases inside the building, with single foundations under the posts inside the building.
The building is L-shaped and an office building by design. The modern design of its facade forms a coherent whole. The external wall features generally light concrete parts and glass surfaces. The rhythm produced by the reinforced concrete panels in the exterior finish determined the distribution of the windows. The central section features exterior lighting showcasing the architectural appearance of the building and providing a playful element during hours of darkness.
